Talk to us Our approach
Leadership skills you can practise.
Build on your strengths. Practise decisions, communication and shared responsibility. Get specific feedback, adjust and try again before taking the learning back to work.
Start a conversationThe framework
Four disciplines. Observable behaviours.
See clearly
State what you know, name what is uncertain and ask others what you may have missed. Practise building a shared picture before acting.
Establish trust
Invite a different view, ask for help and keep a clear commitment. Notice whose strengths the team is using and whose voice is missing.
Act decisively
Give a clear brief, assign responsibility and check understanding. Make a decision with the information available, then explain when you would reconsider.
Learn relentlessly
Describe what happened without blame. Choose one adjustment, practise it in the next round and review what changed.
Three connected systems
Leadership is personal, relational and operational.
Self
Recognise your strengths, notice your reactions and practise asking for support or pausing before a decision.
Team
Use different strengths, invite honest disagreement and confirm that everyone understands the shared task.
System
Bring clear ownership, useful debriefs and deliberate practice into everyday meetings and handovers.

Method
Practise. Get feedback. Try again.
Each exercise starts with a skill and a clear brief. You take the lead in a practical challenge while facilitators observe specific behaviours. Feedback focuses on what you did and how others experienced it.
Then you try again. You might give a clearer handover, ask for a quieter colleague’s view or change how you allocate roles. The next attempt gives you a chance to use the feedback while it is still fresh.
Transfer begins with your own work: choose a meeting, decision or conversation, name the behaviour you will practise and agree a review point. Workplace assignments and follow-up are tailored to the program and agreed scope.
